How do I view daily PV and UV?
You can view them through Jiguang Analysis - Event Analysis. The number of browse events is PV, and the number of people is UV.
For App products, use the App-side App page browsing event to view daily PV and UV. The App launch event is triggered when an Activity or ViewController page is opened with automatic tracking enabled.
For Web products, use the Web-side Web page browsing event to view daily PV and UV. The Web page browsing event is collected when a web page is opened with automatic tracking enabled.
For WeChat Mini Program products, use the Mini Program-side Mini Program page browsing event to view daily PV and UV. The page browsing event is collected when a Mini Program page is opened with automatic tracking enabled.
Why is Jiguang query data different from data counted by third-party platforms or our own business database?
Compared with Third-Party Platform Data
Because different platforms may have different data collection logic and calculation rules, simply comparing statistical results is not very meaningful. When comparing Jiguang Operation Growth statistics with third-party platform statistics, first confirm whether the data collection logic and calculation rules of the two platforms are the same.
Compared with Data in Your Own Business Database
For example, if there is a difference between the number of users for a registration event collected by Jiguang Operation Growth and the number of users in the customer's own business platform, use the following approach:
- First, confirm whether the event collected by Jiguang Operation Growth and the data collection logic of the customer's own business database are consistent. If the logic is inconsistent, the data cannot be compared for consistency.
- Second, confirm whether the query calculation rules and user tagging rules are consistent. Calculation rules and user tagging methods directly affect statistical results. For calculation rules and user tagging methods of Jiguang Operation Growth metrics, see Jiguang official documentation.
- Then confirm the proportion of differences, whether differences occur every day, and whether the differences are stable.
- Ask the customer to query which specific users are missing in the Jiguang system or in the customer's own business database based on user information, and then check whether those users have data in the Jiguang system.
Why is data viewed today for a past day on the Event Analysis page different from data viewed yesterday?
The app may have delayed data reporting. For example, before data is sent, the user kills the app background process. The data is stored locally first and continues to be reported the next time the app starts.
When using analysis, why is the event property drop-down empty when I want to select an event property?
- The event property drop-down only displays values that have been reported and are in the top 20 by report count.
- The top 20 values are updated once a week after being reported.
